Regret?

Being alone inside my helmet listening to the wind rushing by, my mind starts to wander. I really can’t control it, so when it asked me if I would ever regret taking this trip I laughed out loud. If comedy is all about timing, my mind is perfect at it.

This really was the most ridiculous question anybody could ask. I analyze it from every angle. If I make a fortune in the stock market, or go bankrupt and live on the street. If I get married have lots of fat babies and live a long life, if I get cancer and die young. Could I ever look back and think this was all a huge mistake? Can a person ever regret travel?

Of all the places I could be, none could make me happier than the inside of a sweaty helmet on the bumpy Mexican road to Veracruz.

Well I can't really say anything after that but the one thing I say is a lot of people are wusses and think you are crazy. Probably because you don't speak Spanish or really know where your going and have Mitch as a partner. You've made a HUGE mistake

Barriers?
Is language a barrier?, Is religion a barrier?, Is loneliness a barrier?, Is distance a barrier? Are relationships a barrier?? Is money a barrier?
……To make your dreams come true ?

What is life without dreams?
What are dreams without love?
What is love without the courage to make it happen?
It is the love of adventure, the curiosity of new cultures, and the adrenaline rush running in their veins every time they hit the road what keeps them wanting more!

Troy, do people that calls them crazy know what CARPE DIEM means?
Maybe if they knew it they wouldn’t be saying they are crazy but they would be either joining them or following their own dreams.

To me barriers are building up in everyone’s mind just to have a GREAT excuse not to take part in the adventure of your own life!
Some are meant to watch, others are meant to live! Whose side are you standing?

To me life is about breaking free with all the excuses that keep holding you back of your dreams!

So RYAN, if you ever lack of courage then regret what you didn’t get do!
Not yet, not yet!

It is passion what moves me.
It is about people who follow their dreams, people that makes things happen, people that makes a difference! Certainly, that people is that people who inspires me!
So keep it going guys, YOU RULE!

Mariana--
just to be totally clear...knowing Ryan and Mitch fairly well...language isn't a barrier, it's a weapon. Religion isn't a barrier, it's a guilt trip. Distance isn't a barrier, it's an escape route. Money isn't a barrier, it's an asset. Loneliness isn't a barrier, it's a riding companion. And relationships are definitley not a barrier, they are the gaping mouth of hell itself.
Life without dreams is reality
Dreams without love are goals
And love without courage is marriage
Mariana, Maybe the people that call them crazy don't know what carpe diem is.. but neither to Ryan and Mitch. To coin a Latin phrase.. I think carpe cuerpo is all they believe in. Instead of Vini vidi vici I think they are saying we came, we saw, so what.
But in all honesty, I am inspired that man can still be inspired by pure testosterone and not their flimsy dreams.
amen
