How many miles to Panama?

Throw out some wild guesses for how many miles we will travel before hitting our final destination in Panama.

We are not even out of Sonora yet and already the odometer is reading 1700 miles!

Winner gets a sweet Half-throttle t-shirt! So get on google earth and start mapping out where we have been. Remember to add in a couple thousand "we're lost and driving in circles" miles.

Good Luck,
Ryan and Mitch

I don't have even close to a clue, so without looking at a map, and based on 1700 miles already (you guys sure get lost a lot) I will guess 3, 486 miles.

Maybe tomorrow I will look at my map and see how far off I am. You've got a long trip ahead of you, breaking little beach-baby girls hearts along the way...

P.S. I'm SO GLAD Mitch got a new bike. That tricycle he was riding was sad. Thanks to everyone who made that possible.

weeelll, I would say, looking at my map it must be somewhere around eleven and a half inches, which doesn't really seem that far at all. So I kinda wich everyone would quit freaking out about it. Besides that, the idea is absolutely brilliant and I hope we can find some sponsors to get you all the way down and back and maybe go again. Good luck!

Well I've studied the matter throughly and on this one I think (and i really regret this) I'm going to have to agree with Gabe. It doesn't seem that far because i just measured it on the globe i have and it's about how wide this text box is which is even shorter than Gabe said. Stole that suckers T-shirt right out from under him

by using my new pencil, which is a fairly accurate measuring device, I would say from springville to the panama canal, and the getting "lost" factor 4500 miles

Considering:
a) you are not going straight, b)
Mexicans making you go back and forth for papers in Sonora state and c) Mitch getting lost in Tlaxcala mmm, I would guess between 6300 and 6800 not counting the ride around my block! he he
Taking a guess all of your trip should be making between 10800 up to 11300. (** Not incluiding Baja California on your way back)
If we happen to vote for Baja California then it would be up to 12700 miles! ARE WE THERE YET? HE HE HE
